Gabe Rico posted rounds of 73 at the Country Club on Saturday and 76 at Desert Hills on Sunday and finished with a solid 2-under-par 70 at Mesa Del on Monday morning to win the Yuma County Open men’s gross division.

Shannon Mason posted rounds of 86 at the Country Club on Saturday and 80 at Desert Hills on Sunday and finished with an evenpar 73 at Mesa Del Sol on Monday to win the gross score women’s division.

The team of Gary and Marlene Golembiski tied Jerry Crump and Dan Maes at 125 for low net in the two-day best ball. Gabe Rico and Jon Underwood won the two-day team gross best ball with a 141.

David Givens posted rounds of 66 at the Country Club on Saturday and 71 at Desert Hills on Sunday and a 65 on Monday at Mesa Del Sol to win the individual net score division.

Marlene Golembiski posted rounds of 72 at the Country Club on Saturday and 72 at Desert Hills on Sunday and 66 on Monday at Mesa Del Sol to win the ladies net score division.

On Tuesday at Las Barrancas, the men’s silver gross score winners were Lee Estes, Bill Taylor and Brian Healy. The net score winners were Lee Estes, Bill Taylor and Frankie Allen.

The teams of Hank and Scott Gray, and Brad Grosse and Jim Wright, and Marc Myers and Rob Hreso all tied for first place in the Mesa Del Sol twilight mixed league play on Friday afternoon with a net best ball score of 30. The skin winners were Scott Gray, Brad Grosse, Mark Leeds and Marc Myers. Bryan Alleb won the KP on the fifth hole and Arlen Ritter won the KP on the eighth hole. The longest drive on the sixth hole went to Gary Golembiski and the long drive on the seventh hole went to Jim Wright.

Mike St Claire won the gross score division of the Mesa Del Sol mixed weekly individual play on Monday morning with Albert Johnson winning the net division. The skin winners were Stephen Martin, Mike St Claire, Al Johnson, Steve Parrish, Bob Rehn and Carol Roland.

The two teams that tied for first place in the Moose Lodge weekly scramble play at Mesa Del Sol were Dale Hoch, Evelyn Pribble, Frank Domanlay and Fay Baker, and Bob Lauer, Walley Jeffery, Okey Green and Sandy Henson. Bob Lauer won the KP on the 13th hole and Diana Bird won the KP on the 17th hole.

Mike St Claire, Steve Parrish and Hank Browning tied for first place in Pinky’s Pick weekly play at Mesa Del Sol on Wednesday morning. Fourth place went to Bill Slade with Jim Mitchell taking fifth place. The skin winners were Jack Parker, Pam Herring, Henry Browning, Steve Parrish, Marilyn Cotter, Mike St Clair and Bill Slade.

On Thursday at Las Barrancas, the men’s copper gross score winners were John Cullen, Brian Healy and Bill Taylor. The net score winners were George Christophe­r, Bill Taylor and Larry Nicholson.

In the Mesa Del Sol Men’s Wednesday Twilight League, Tom Norkiewicz used a blind draw partner to shoot a net best ball 28 and tie Jon Vance and Patrick Farrell. Norkiewicz increased his lead in the Summer Season points lead. This week’s format is a two-man net shamble and play begins at 5 p.m.

Sue Janney posted a net score of 77 to win the Desert Hills Ladies Ace of the Month play on Tuesday morning with Daphne Stone taking second place. The skill shot winners were Gloria Gentry and Sue Janney.

Jack Parker and Jim Mitchell were the overall net score winners in the Mesa Del Sol two-person scramble play on Friday morning. Garry Sletton and Mike St Claire were the gross score winners.
