Jack Parker was the winner in the Mesa Del Sol weekly mixed Quota and Skins Game on Monday with 5.63 points. Bob Rehn took second place with 4.27 points and Dale Hoch was third with 4.24 points. Bill Slade took fourth place with 3.98 points and Sandy Blair was fifth with 3.86 quota points.
The skin winners were Jack Parker, Dale Hoch, Hank Browning, Ray Butler, Steve Parrish, George Christopher, Sandy Blair and Garry Sletten.
On Tuesday morning at the Las Barrancas Golf Course the men’s silver league gross score winners were Carl Fritz and Rollie Harris. The net score winners were Al Smith and Greg Beatie. The team winners were Mark Parks, Ron Gapp, Harry Stanley, and Larry Garrett.
Rusty Wies teamed with John Scott, Carol Deavold, and Rick Parks and posted a scrambling score of three under par 33 on Tuesday morning to win first place in the Moose Lodge weekly play at Mesa Del Sol. The three teams that tied for second place were Bob Lauer, Wally Jeffery, Diana Bird and Bud Hammond and Randy Labrasseur, Peggy Quinn, Maxine Gatti, and Loretta Holland and Jimmy Billebach, Frank Domantay, Shirley Patterson, and Ken Sparks.
On Wednesday morning at the Foothills Executive Golf Course the men’s league gross score winners were Greg Beatie and Rollie Harris. The net score winners were Buddy Hartley and Al Smith. The team winners were Larry Nicholson, Jim Hartley, Michael Costello, and Larry Rocci.
Hank Browning was first in the Mesa Del Sol “Pinky’s Pick” mixed play on Wednesday morning with Bob Rehn finishing second. The remaining winners were Jim Mitchell, Raymond Throckmorton, Lee Laabs, David Doherty, Steve Parrish and Al Johnson. The skin winners were David Doherty, Henry Browning, Pam Herring, Steve Parrish, Ray Throckmorton, Bill Dowding, and Garry Sletten.
In the Mesa Del Sol men’s Wednesday Twilight League the two man Big Cup/Little Cup Net Best Ball winners were Garrett McKeeman and Mitch Lebrecht with a best ball score of 27 for the win. Jeff Buffmyer and Jerry Crump were second at 28. Jerry Crump continued to maintain his lead in the Spring Points Race. Next week’s play is a two man one gross best ball, and one net best ball format with play beginning at 5:00.
On Thursday morning at the Las Barrancas Golf Course the men’s league gross score winners were Rollie Harris, Mark Hammons and, Carl Fritz. The net score winners were Jack Joseph, Mark Parks, and Al Pittman.
In the Mesa del Sol Friday Twilight League two person net Big Cup/Little Cup Combined Total format Mike Daily and Fred Thacker won with a 64. Denney McKay and Morris Mason were second at 65. Four teams tied for third at 67. Play begins each Friday at 5:00 pm.
Bill Dowding posted 27 pro points to win the gross division of the Mesa Del Sol MGA mixed play on Friday morning. First place in the net division went to Hank Browning with 38 points with Marilyn Cotter finished second in the net division. Raymond “Pinky” Throckmorton was third with 37 pro points. The skin winners were Bill Dowding, Dale Hoch, Raymond “Pinky” Throckmorton, Marilyn Cotter, Frank Manson, and Jim Mitchell.
