Kofa football blown out at Calipatria

Kings volleyball rallies to beat Westview, improves to 11-1 AIA

- FROM STAFF REPORTS @YUMASUNSPORTS

The Kofa football team is still winless.

The Kings (0-6 AIA) fell 33-0 to Calipatria (Calif.) Thursday night after some fundamental mistakes jolted any start they tried to make throughout the night.

“We had some of the same issues with blocking and tackling,” Kofa coach David Diehl said. “We weren’t able to block on offense, tackle on defense or get off of blocks on defense. We weren’t able to sustain drives. We’d have a play here or there. We have to be a lot more consistent.”

Star running back Jamar McFarlane did not play for the second straight game.

Kofa has scored six points in the last three games.
