Cindy Joel was the Ace of the Month winner in the Cocopah Ladies Golf Club play on Wednesday morning Nov. 14. The net Ace of the Month winner was Mary Card.
Dave Nicholls, Carol Thomas, Everett Ostrum, and Karen Duffy were the first-place winners in the Fortuna Del Oro Golf Course mixed Scramble play last Friday morning, Nov. 23. Second place went to the team of Kraig Knutson, Darlene Barber, Greg Schaff, and Wendy Perkins with Rick Erickson, Howard Trapnell, Donna Walker, and Cynthia Kerr took third place.
Zelina and Steve Little and Cookie and Don Little teamed for a net score of 62 to win the net division of Willies Couples play on Sunday afternoon. The Gross division winners were Deloris McMillan and Doug Sharkey and Judy and Tony Kossey with a team gross score of 64.
Ray Butler, George Christopher, Bill Dowding and Tom Thorp were the first place team in the Can/ Am three net best ball play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Monday morning. Second place went to the team of Ron Stirler, Neil Fox, Tip Johnson and Bob Rehn. The third place team was George Alcorn, Tom McFarland, Matt Whittaker and Garry Sletten. Art Brekkas was the KP winner on the fifth hole and Ray Butler was the KP winner on the 13th hole. The Deuce Pot winners were Art Brekkas, Bill Slade, Dave Henager, Ray Butler, Tip Johnson, Tony Kossy, Stephen Parrish, and Tom Mozley. Ray Butler, George Christopher, Bill Dowding, and Tom Thorp won the skin hole on the front nine.
Deb Peterson carded a score of 35 to win the first flight in the Mesa Del Sol Ladies “Middle Nine” play on Monday morning with Selma Cusick taking second place with a 36. Brenda Asselstine and Sue Morgenthaler tied for first place in the second flight with Phyllis Mashburn and Ann Weber tied for first place in the third flight. In the fourth flight Jo-Ann Givens was the winner with Rita Droog in second place, and in the fifth flight Linda Williams was the winner with Muriel Scott in second place.
Carol Hindle was the flight one winner in the Desert Hills Ladies play on Tuesday morning with Tami Harmon taking second place and Sue Janney came in third. In flight two, the winner was Betty Stewart with Mary Schueler taking second and Karen Gallagher in third place. The KP winners were Carole Hindle, Donna Lalonde and Diane Comeau. The Honey Pot winners were Sue Janney, Heather Comeau, Karen Gallagher, Betty Stewart, Sharon Webber and Tami Harmon.
Curt Acheson, David McLane, Charlie Kline and Ron Siring were the first place team winners in the Fortuna Del Oro Golf Course Men’s Club play on Tuesday morning. Harry Viznei, Kevin New, Pete Bracconier and Gord Dietz were second place with Jim Davidson, Bill Bonner, Sid Thomas and Ken Schulz taking third place.
Bob Lauer teamed with Chuck Holland, Jody Christensen and Dolores Vroomm for a scrambling score of two under par 70 to win first place in the Moose Loodge weekly play on Tuesday morning. Two teams tied for second place with a score of 70 and the teams were John Coffey, Tom Oxtoby, Gary Boag Carol Johnson and Jimmy Billisbach, and Doug Bellamy, Gary Kuehl and Knute Hammer.
Cliff Weber was the top winner in the weekly “Pinky’s Pick” play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Wednesday morning with a gross plus net best ball score of ten under par 134. The remaining nine winners were Gary Whitcomb, Sam Samples, Willie Peterson, Garry Sletten, Steve Parrish, Mike Mikkola, Jan Butts, David Givens and Al Johnson.
Jim Thompson, Donna Walker, Greg Schaff and Vergie Schaff won the Fortuna Del Oro Golf Course Mixed Club play on Wednesday morning. Second place went to the team of Terry Gadbaw, Bonnie Lewellan, Tigger Schnurer, and Manna Mason, with Everett Ostrum, Nancy Ostrum, Hal Lowrence and Cynthia Kerr winning third place.
The two teams that won skins in the “Krogman Follies” play at the mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Wednesday morning were Jack Parker, Joe Paden, Rod Donner, and Hugh Strain and George Christopher, Sam Boyd, Jim Mitchell and Bill Griffith.
Ann Nicholls won first place in the Fortuna Del Oro Golf Course Ladies Club Low Putts play on Thursday morning with Joyce Steffan taking second place. Alice Macht was third place with Manna Mason in fourth place.
Shannon Mason was the first flight gross score winner in the Ladies “Best 16 and Skins” play on Thursday morning at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course. Sue Morgenthaler was the second flight winner and Betty Szmyrko was the third flight winner. Donna Brown and Muriel Scott won the fourth and fifth flights. The net flight first and second place winners were Selma Cusick, Deb Peterson, Jo-Anne Lambert, Barbara Sanders, Connie Donner, Shirley Ritchie, Judy Larden, Lorraine Breault, Linda Hughes, Linda Williams and Sandy Blair. The skin winners were, Shannon Mason, Betty Szmyrko, Sandy Blair, Linda Hughes, Judy Larden, Sue Morgenthaler, Muriel Scott and Linda Williams.
