An ode to the border wall
Twas the month before Christmas and all along the borders,
The military was gathering, waiting for orders.
The Wall was in place with exceptional care
Fearing the intruders soon would be there.
We were all safe in our tiny tin tents.
Hoping our security was heaven sent.
Momma was quilting day after day
While dad was golfing his winter away.
Some neighbors were hiding in their little home box.
Making sure everything was put away and locked.
The aliens they did come, marching from afar.
Not one of them could afford a bus or a car.
The Wall, it held strong and puzzled the masses.
So now they all sit on their fine little asses.
We must pray for an answer to help their sad plight,
So both sides of the Wall can be merry and bright.
