In the Las Barrancas Silver Men’s league on July 9, Larry Garrett and Rollie Harris were the gross winners. Jack Joseph and Bob Selle won net. Conrad Eisenach, John Cullen, Wayne Fisher and Johnny Chambell won the team event. On July 16, Rollie Harris and John Cullen were the gross winners. Wayne Fisher and Lee Estes won net. Royd Fettig, Johnny Chambell, Larry Villa and Ken Griffin won the team event.
In the Las Barrancas Copper Men’s league on July 11, John Cullen and Mark Hammons were the gross winners. Fred Okerholm and Al Smith won net. On July 18, Tony Hammons, Larry Garrett and John Cullen were the gross winners. Al Smith and Larry Nicholson won net.
At Mesa del Sol in the Moose Lodge scramble on July 9, the team of Bob Lauer, Juan Batista, Carol DeVolld and Bud Hammond won with a 33. In the July 16th scramble, John Coffey, Frank Domantay and Carol DeVolld won with a 37.
At Mesa del Sol on July 8, Steve Parrish was the winner in the Monday Quota competition with Bob Lauer second and Lola Stone third. On July 15, Garrett McKeeman took first with George Christopher second and Hank Browning third.
In the Wednesday Pinky’s Picks, the winners on July 10 were David Doherty first with Hank Browning second and Gary Whitcomb third. On July 17, Pam Herring won first, Steve Parrish second and Hank Browning third.
In the Mesa del Sol Men’s Wednesday Twilight league combined total format, Ernie Jimenez and Paul White shot 74 to win low gross. Mike Van Allen and Bob Ricker won low net with a 61. Todd Birney and Denney McKay were second. The league plays every Wednesday at
5:00. Cost is $35 per player.
In the Mesa del Sol Friday mixed league on July 12 in a three-person, two-best ball format, Steve Parrish, Carl Johnson and Jack Parker won with a 124. Ray Butler, Larry Colao and Lee Laab were second just one stroke back. On July 19, in a best ball, points format, Bill Slade and George Christopher won in a scorecard playoff with 32 points. Steve Martin and Sam Samples were second.
In the Mesa del Sol Friday Twilight league two-person scramble, Arlen Ritter and Mark Leeds won low gross with a 35. Tami Harmon and Andy Gross won low net with a 33 in a scorecard playoff. Glenn Matthews and Brad Grosse were second. On July 19 in a two-person best ball, Doug Thompson and Marty Tovaas won low gross with a 34. Brad Gross and Jim Wright won low net with a 28. Fred Thacker and Jarod Lackey were second at 29. The league plays every Friday at 5:00. Cost is $30 per player and is open to women’s, men’s or mixed teams.
