n the Las Barrancas Silver Men’s league play, Larry Garrett and Carl Fritz were the gross winners. Royd Fettig and Conrad Eisenach won net. Team winners were Jack Joseph, Mike Costello, Art McLaughlin and Al Smith.
In the Las Barrancas Copper Men’s league play, Tony Hammons was the gross winner. Carl Fritz won net. Mark Hammons, Bill Taylor, Art McLaughlinand Johnny Chambell won the team event.
In the Moose Lodge Scramble at Mesa del Sol, Ron Hardin and Tony Martin won first with a 35. John Coffey, Evelyn Pribble, Carol DeVold and Marisa Turck were second at 37. Bob Lauer, Dave Bradford, Jerry Klinger and Maxine Gatti were third at 38.
At Mesa del Sol, Bob Rehn was first in the Monday Quota competition with Bob Blair second and Sandy Blair third. In the Wednesday Pinky’s Picks, the winners were Steve Parrish first with Garry Sletten second and Harry McKemy third.
In the Mesa del Sol Men’s Wednesday Twilight league designated driver scramble, Steven Kush and Collin Catron shot a 34 to win low gross. Jarod Harvick and Andrew Lucas won low net with a 32 in a scorecard playoff. Ernie Jimenez and Robert Vaughan were second. In the Summer Points Race, with two weeks to go Bob Ricker holds a narrow lead.
In the Mesa del Sol Friday mixed league 3-person 2-net best ball points competition, Mike St. Clair won with a 91 and two blind draw picks. Tom McIntire, Larry Colao and Bob Rehn were second. Hank Browning, Marilyn Cotter and Jack Parker were third. In the Mesa del Sol Friday Twilight league 2-person shamble, Mike Daily and Denney McKay won low gross with a 36. Eddie Nelson and John Holbrook won net with a 32. Tami Harmon and Andy Gross tied Mark and Nolan Ford for second at 33.
