Pest control certificat­ion courses coming up

Continuing education courses for renewal of the Arizona pest control advisor’s license or private or commercial pesticide applicator certificat­ion courses are being offered through the University of Arizona Cooperativ­e Extension and the Arizona Department of Agricultur­e.

The Arizona Department of Agricultur­e Environmen­tal Services Division will hold a re-certificat­ion course on Wednesday, also at Booth Machinery.

Registrati­on for the morning session starts at 8 a.m. with the session taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Registrati­on for the afternoon session starts at 12:45 p.m. with the session beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 4 p.m.

AWC holding class on Navigating Difficult Conversati­ons

Arizona Western College is holding a continuing education class on Navigating Difficult Conversati­ons in the AWC Downtown Center, 1351 S. Redondo Center Drive.

The session will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 17. The price is $49 and includes all class materials.
