APS is hosting an open house on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Yuma Public Works Building, 155 W. 14th St. Customers are invited to meet with an APS advisor to get help with money-saving options and apply for bill assistance programs.
For immediate approval, attendees are invited to take their Quest EBT card or SNAP/TANF award letter or other proof of household income, such as one month’s pay stubs, W-2s or most recent Federal Tax Forms, to start the application.
No appointment required. Customers will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Realty Agency, Farmers Insurance host appreciation event on Friday
The Realty Agency and the Farmers Insurance Valentin Guzman Agency invite the community to a customers appreciation event on Friday from 4-6 p.m. at 2071 S. 4th Ave.
The event will include food and entertainment. Agents will be standing by ready to answer any questions attendees might have about purchasing a home, selling a home, as well as acquiring auto, life, business or home insurance.
YSWCA to host annual members’ dinner on Feb. 21
The Yuma Southwest Contractors Association will host its 18th Annual Members’ Dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at Britain’s Farm Chuckwagon, 4330 W. Riverside Drive.
The event will feature dinner, drinks, music, dancing, games, photos, washoos and “fun for all.” The cost is $50 per individual. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Yuma Entrepreneur Mixer set for Feb. 13
The next Yuma Entrepreneur Mixer will take place on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Red Moon Ale House, 130 S. Main St. The mixer is for seasoned entrepreneurs or anybody who is just starting.
Attendees will meet some of the top entrepreneurs in Yuma. Be ready to learn, network and build something special. Music will be provided by Quality Eventz. The $10 cover includes food.
