At Yuma Golf & Country Club in the Mixed Partner Championship, Lydia and Lyndall Couch were the overall champs. Sue and Jerry Janney won the net overall. In the A flight, Juanita Hornung and Rick Sanders won gross, while Gail and Ken Duffield won net. In the B flight, Donna and Ron Sawatzky won gross, while Judy and Jim Cuming won net.

In the Desert Hills ladies league, Donna Lalonde took first gross, with Sun Douthit second and Cathy Francis third. Sharren Weber won low net, with Bette McGrath second and Brenda Riddell third.

At Foothills Par 3 in the Men’s league, Bob McAllister, Dee Larson and Bill Taylor were the gross winners. Earl Holtkamp, Jim Fly and Norm Nash won net. John Verretto, Howard Pickerill, Frank Kehler and Ken Kajita were the team winners. In the Par 3 Women’s league, Loretta Schneider, Sandra Haun and Linda Wilder were the gross winners. Alice Macht, Carla Grove and Bernice Miller won net. Elaine Corbet, Laura Nyberg, Irene Davis and Wilma George were the team winners.

At Las Barrancas in the Silver league, Don Flint, Dale Clarke and John Goodwell were the gross winners. Earle Dawson, Dennis Adair and Larry Tremblay won net. Charlie

Bubar, Don Miller, Don Fellows and BJ McKay were on the winning team. In the Copper league, Keith Planidin, Mark Stoner and Steve Gartner were the gross winners. Dave Forest, Ken Spike and Phil Smith won net. Bill Taylor, Lauren Young, Doug Mendel and Bryan Boechler were on the winning team.

In the Las Barrancas Ladies league, Loretta Schneider and Marilyn Denny were the gross winners. Linda Murphy and Chris Tastad won net. Dorothy Gartner, Dona Laidlaw, Madge Fling and Sherry McIver were on the winning team.

At Foothills Executive in the Men’s League, John Ball, Bill Taylor and Rollie Harris were the gross winners. Chuck Wilson, Jerry Gardner and Warren Drake won net. Tom Gsell, Larry Slocum, Butch Robideau and Martin Ollsson were on the winner team. In the Women’s league, Loretta Schneider, Susan Clarke and Laurie Russell were the gross winners. Lora Lee Whelan, Susan Jones and Donna Wagner won net. Linda Wilder, Faunie Menke, Pat St. Louis and Elaine Calnek were on the winning team.

At Mesa del Sol in the Can/Am league, team winners were Dennis Lund, Bob Dunnigan, Tip Johnson and Hugh Strain with 73 points. Garry Davidson, Clifford Weber, Bill

Pearson and Art Brekkas were second with 71 points. Tom Mozley, David Burtt, Wayne Gunion and Garrett McKeeman were third with 67 points.

In the Moose league scramble at Mesa del Sol, Steve Martin, Keith Swearingen, Wojo and Shirley Shepley were first with a 65. The teams of Tom Oxtoby, John Chipster, Chuck Holland and Jim Flood, Jimmy Billisbach, Jim Shepley, Joyce Martin and Rick Parks tied for second with 68s.

At Mesa del Sol in Krogman’s Follies, Gary Armstrong, Tom Mozley, Wayne Gunion and Terry Matthews were first with 74 points. Ron Stirler, Reg Marshal, Dick Michael and Mike Wayrynen tied the team of Tony Kossey, Ron Breault, Ken McNeal and Jim Mitchell for second with 72 points. In Pinky’s Picks, Marilyn Cotter took first with Mike Mikkola second and Hank Browning third.

In Mesa del Sol Men’s league 2 of 4 best ball format, Stephen Parrish, Jerry Olson, Larry Colao and Gary Young took first in a scorecard playoff with a 123 score. Harry McKemy, Gary Armstrong, Bill Slade and Art Smith were second. Tom McIntire, Hank Browning, George Alcorn and Wayne Gunion were third at 125.

In the Mesa del Sol Sunday Couples shamble, Cynthia and Angus Cunningham won with a net 61. Jeannie and Tom McFarland were second with a 66. Kathy Smith and Scott Satterfield tied Corina Kosmata and Todd Birney for third with 67s.
