Phil Curran won the Cocopah Men’s Club Championship with a 36-hole gross score of 149. Paul Jones won the net championship with a 124. The Cocopah Men’s Club is open to new members from inside or outside the park. For membership information call Bob Craigue at 928276-9554.
In the Desert Hills Ladies league, Donna Lalonde took first gross, with Sun Douthit second and Joanna Nealer third. Karen Gallagher and Diane Peters tied for low net, with Valerie Shoemaker third. Skill winners were Charlene Morrison, Carol Hindle, Lola Stone, Sun Douthit and Karen Gallagher.
At Foothills Par 3 in the Men’s League, David Richelderfer, Bob McAllister and Frank Kehler were the gross winners. Jake Derksen, Michael Costello and Charlie Bubar won net. Jeannot Levesque, John Kehler, Ken Sack and Ken McCarrell were the team winners. In the Par 3 Women’s League, Loretta Schneider, Sandra Haun and Dona Laidlaw were the gross winners. Pat Gardner, Nancy Moyer and Jan Diebold won net. Lois Comeau, Jill Grause, Elaine Tremblay and Kathy Gleysteen were the team winners.
At Las Barrancas in the Silver League, Keith Planidin, Steve Gartner and Mark Stoner were the gross winners. John Emerson, Calvin Vogelsang and Dave Burlingame won net. Al Augustine, BJ McKay, Charlie Bubar and Tim Weir were on the winning team. In the Copper League, Steve Gartner, Keith Planidin and Frank Russell were the gross winners. John Cullen, Dennis Hammermeister and Jerry Denny won net. MK Hovden, Calvin Vogelsang, Charlie Bubar and Don Flint were on the winning team.
In the Las Barrancas Ladies league, Loretta Schneider and Dorothy Gartner were the gross winners. Reta Boechler and Madge Flint won net. Marilyn Denny, Maribeth Evens, Sherry McIver and Bobbie Bellusci were on the winning team.
At Foothills Executive in the Men’s League, Butch Robideau, Keith Floyd and Bill Taylor were the gross winners. Ben Estes, Dan Sutherland and Dave Oswald won net. Frank Russell, Robert Hohf, Jerry Gardner and Darryl Dupuis were on the winning team. In the Women’s League, Vicki Steelman, Sandra Haun and Suzanne Hammons were the gross winners. Suzanne Cooley, Janet Slocum and Bobbi Bellusci won net. Laurie Russell, Pat Gardner, Sue Simerson and Sharon Sumner were on the winning team.
In the Can Am Men’s event at Mesa del Sol, 3-ball format, Marty Schwab, Normand Berube, Jake Fehr and Hugh Strain won with 71 points. Tom Mozley, Larry Colao, Jim Pedersen and Tom McFarland were second with 69 points. Gerald Larrabee, Alan Young, Len Fallis and Murray
MacDonald were third with 68 points.
In the Moose Lodge Scramble at Mesa del Sol, Steve Martin, Donna Morris, Joey Christensen and Sandi Niemela won with a 68. Tom Oxtoby, Keith Swearing, Shirley Shepley and Bill Johnson were second at 69. Randy Stickles, Charlie Kline, Jerry Klinger and Bud Hammond were third at 70.
At Mesa del Sol in Krogman’s Follies, Jack Henson, Joe Paden, David Burtt and Bert Scott were first with 71 points. Dennis Powell, George Christopher, Mike Wayrynen and Ken McNeal were second with 70 points. Jim Mitchell, Dick Bosch, Bill Slade and Ray Butler were third with 70 points.
In Pinky’s Picks at Mesa del Sol, Jack Parker won first with Hank Browning second and Jerry Olson third.
In the Mesa del Sol Ladies League, the gross flight winners were Cathy Francis, Audrey Dowd, Janis Goll and Sandy Blair. The net flight winners were Cheryl Mikkola, Ann Weber, Wendy Cyrene and Bev Morgan.
In the Mesa del Sol Men’s League, the gross flight winners were Mike Mikkola, Ken Givens, Ron Stirler and Wayne Gunion. The net flight winners were David Givens, George Christopher, Bill Pearson and Jack Henson.
In the Mesa del Sol Sunday Couples net best ball, Rob and Shirley Rutledge won with a 58. Cookie and Don Little were second with a 61. Zelina and Steve Little were third with a 63.
Hole in Ones
