GOING ON: The Yuma High School Cell Block student store will donate a portion of their monthly proceeds to YRMC Cancer Center for cancer awareness; includes any shirt with a pink Criminal logo; shirts come in adult sizes small to 3XL; in addition to the pink logo shirts, there is a wide variety of YHS items including sweatshirt­s, hats, stickers

GOING ON: Ballet Yuma’s Pointe & Putt Classic golf tournament is a four-person scramble, minimum team handicap 50; fee includes green fees, cart, catered lunch, range balls and entry into the grand prize drawing

GOING ON: Sunrise Optimist Club of Yuma will have a bowling fundraiser with four person teams, eight teams only; 100% of proceeds will go to families with children fighting cancer in the Yuma area; prizes awarded for first, second and third place; deadline to register Nov. 1; sponsorshi­ps available

COST: Teams of 4 $25 each, includes shoes and fees
