GOING ON: All vehicles welcome with five stops, last stop will be at Sage and Sand Cocktail Lounge, 2852 E. 16th St.; COVID protocols will be in place; raffle, prizes, 50/50 drawing; fundraiser will benefit Wreaths Across America

KEN AND BETTY BORLAND HOLIDAY PAGEANT AND TOWER LIGHTING CEREMONY
WHEN: Gates open at 6 p.m., and the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. WHERE: Desert Sun Stadium
GOING ON: Hosted by the Cabelleros de Yuma, this event features dance performances, special guests, holiday cheer, Christmas carols and the annual Friendship Tower lighting ceremony by Yuma’s reigning
Citizen of the Year. This year, social distancing requirements will be in place. Attendees are asked to bring blankets and chairs here they can sit 6 people to a number of designated squares on the field. A video screen will be available for viewing as well.

GOING ON: Ballet Yuma will host their annual Sugar Plum Tea with story telling of the Nutcracker, select performances by Ballet Yuma, treats and drinks, gift baskets for raffle, photos with Nutcracker characters; very limited seating available

Tuesday Dec. 1 FREEDOM LIBRARY/ROUND TABLE TAKEOVER
WHEN: 5-8 p.m.

THE FREEDOM LIBRARY 24TH ANNUAL CONSTITUTION FORUM
WHEN: 6-9 p.m.
WHERE: The Freedom Library, 2035 S. Arizona Ave., on the north end of the Yuma Sun building
GOING ON: The forum will feature the film, For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story, which is a true story of how one of the great trumpet players of our time escaped from Cuba. Scholarships will be awarded, and there will be a raffle and prizes. Participants can also join in via Zoom.
