Sunday July 4 INDEPENDENCE DAY FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

WHERE: Yuma Armed Forces Park, 291 S. Gila St.
GOING ON: Join the Caballeros de Yuma as they celebrate Independence Day by honoring our Armed Forces. The keynote speaker will be Col. McFall, commander at Yuma Proving Ground. As part of the ceremony, and in partnership with the Yuma Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs committee, individual Soldiers and Marines are recognized for their achievements during the year.

Saturday July 17 DRIVE-THRU BACK TO SCHOOL RODEO

GOING ON: The Back to School Rodeo is a family-friendly event providing the necessary school supplies kids need! The event is a drive thru where parents pull up to the front of the Yuma Civic Center and receive a backpack packed with school supplies. The first 1,800 children will receive a FREE synch style backpack filled with school supplies! (The child must be present).
