Marking its 25th anniversary by making its debut on Blu-ray with a new 4K restoration,

this documentary looks at the enduring phenomenon that is “Star Trek” by profiling many of the fans who have remained devoted to the franchise and its many variations – or at least those that existed by the time this film was made. Leonard Nimoy, George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, James Doohan, DeForest Kelley and Walter Koenig represent the original “Trek” series by offering comments, while “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Star Trek: Voyager” are considered through appearances by Denise Crosby (who plays host here), Brent
