Robert (Bobby) A. Urtuzuaste­gui, 71, a longtime resident of Somerton, Arizona, passed away on February 5, 2023 at Abrazo Medical Center in Goodyear, AZ. Bobby was born on November 8, 1951 in Yuma, AZ and remained living in Somerton throughout his life.

He was the youngest child born to Charles N.

Urtuzuaste­gui and Josephine O. Urtuzuaste­gui totaling three boys. Bobby attended elementary school in Somerton, played baseball, and graduated from Kofa High School in 1969. He then went on to attend Phoenix College/asu, received clinical training at Maricopa County General Hospital with his best friend Kenny Grissom, and began his career as a Radiologic Technologi­st for 30+ years.

He married the love of his life, Rosa, and had two daughters. They celebrated 47 years of marital bliss just before Bobby's death. Bobby enjoyed his family, music (The Beatles), cars, camping, fishing, hunting, off-roading, and sports.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles N. Urtuzuaste­gui Sr. and Josephine Obeso Urtuzuaste­gui; his brothers, Charles Urtuzuaste­gui Jr., and Alex Urtuzuaste­gui.

He is survived by his wife Rosa Castro Urtuzuaste­gui, and his two daughters Erica Urtuzuaste­gui and Melisa Urtuzuaste­gui Dodge.

Viewing will be held at Yuma Mortuary at 775 S. 5th Ave, Yuma AZ, on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm with the Rosary beginning at 7pm. The Memorial Service Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Somerton on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10am and burial will follow at Desert Lawn Cemetery. All are welcome to attend either or both services. Sunday dress at funeral is optional.
