Jacqueline “Jackie” Palacio-vaglio

Jackie, as she was affectiona­tely known by many, entered into eternal life after a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family in Phoenix, Az where she resided.

Jackie attended Yuma schools and graduated from Yuma High School in 1981. She loved playing sports, especially softball and volleyball in high school where she excelled at. She worked for Vatalint (formerly United Blood Services) as a phlebotomi­st traveling the state assisting with blood drives, later becoming Activities Director for Bella Vita Healthcare.

Jackie is predecease­d by her father, Frank R. Palacio, Jr; paternal grandparen­ts, Frank and Inez Palacio and maternal grandparen­ts, Gene and Tonia Leyvas.

Surviving Jackie is her husband, Johnny Vaglio; son, Bobby Hernandez of Phoenix; daughter, Andrea Hernandez of San Francisco, CA; mother, Kris Palacio; sister, Dena Palacio and brother, Frank Pops (Joann) Palacio, all of Phoenix, AZ; step-daughters, Regina, Adriana, Eileen, Irene, Sara and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She had fourteen grandchild­ren.

A Mass will be recited for Jackie on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Church (Yuma) at 8:00 am. There will be a Celebratio­n of Life at the DAV (formerly the ACPE), 954 S. 13th Avenue, Yuma, AZ beginning at 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Join us and share a loving memory or funny story with her family.
