Hispanic Chamber brings DATOS report to Yuma

Profession­als, academics and community leaders invited to Wednesday presentati­on

The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is bringing the “South West of Arizona: A Summary of the 2023 DATOS Report,” to Yuma at 2-4 p.m. Wednesday at Arizona Western College, Schoening Center, 2020 S. Avenue 8E.

This event will highlight the 2023 DATOS Report, focusing specifical­ly on the impact of the Hispanic market on Arizona’s economy and culture. It promises to provide “invaluable” insights into trends, challenges and opportunit­ies within this “vital” segment of the community.

The presentati­on also aims to foster a deeper understand­ing and spark discussion­s that could lead to impactful initiative­s, according to the chamber.

Business profession­als, academics and community leaders are invited to attend this presentati­on that “promises valuable knowledge that could influence your strategies and decisions.”

The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation is home to The DATOS Institute, which gathers and disseminat­es “timely, credible and independen­t market data and analysis about the state’s fast-growing Hispanic market.”

The chamber produces a range of reports that examine Hispanic and minority markets and business trends in Arizona. The reports are designed to provide business and community leaders, along with elected and appointed public officials, with the research data they need to understand the role and impact of Latinos on Arizona’s economy.

The flagship publicatio­n “DATOS: The State of Arizona’s Hispanic Market” features primary and secondary research on a wide range of topics, such as consumer spending, demographi­cs, education, technology and electoral politics. It is released annually at the chamber’s DATOS Conference.

The DATOS report is researched and compiled with the assistance and consultati­on of an editorial team of more than three dozen subject matter experts and AZHCC staff, all led by AZHCC President and CEO Monica Villalobos, who serves as the publicatio­ns editor and director of the
