April 13, 1977 - March 4, 2024

Noah Big Happy Stuart Barley was born to Naomi and Stuart Barley on April 13, 1977. He was raised on the East Cocopah Reservation alongside his little brother, Novick Barley and first cousins of whom he acknowledged and loved as his brothers and sisters. This first set of friends helped mold him into being the Best Friend, Protector and the Love of our lives that we've all known him for.

Noah was a passionate, loyal and fiery soul. An impatient man who didn't tolerate nonsense and handled his business as a warrior. Although he had an intimidating and rough exterior, the fighter in him was only called upon when he was defending and protecting his loved ones. He was always being silly, doing crazy things around us, jamming out to his favorite music, talking trash against all the apposing football teams of the Cardinals, drinking a King Cobra, Smoking a joint, and always smiling and dancing.

Noah will be reunited with his mother, Naomi; father, Stuart and little brother, Novick Barley at Eagle Mountain. His wife, Roxanne; sons, Gabriel and Michael Barley, daughter, Aurora Johnson alongside his brothers, sisters, aunts uncles, nephews and numerous cousins will all come together to make sure his journey home will be a great one.

Noah was the Co-founder of a Native American awareness group called Intertribal Warriors United that was formed here in Yuma. AZ. He helped bring awareness of our Native Issues by marching here locally and at the State Capitol.

An Honorary Walk will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 (TODAY) at 3:30 pm. Walkers will meet at the Barley residence and will end at the Cocopah Cry House on West Reservation for Ceremonial Rites to follow from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am .
