Jesse Todd Hancock, a father, a son, a brother passed away on March 10, 2024 at the age of 53 from congestive heart failure at YRMC. He was born on November 16, 1970 in Yuma, Arizona to Jesse Scott and Linda Hancock. Todd grew up in Dome Valley. He graduated from Yuma High School where he excelled in both football (All Region) and track. People who knew Todd in his youth and teenage years remember him as being an exceptiona­l athlete. He continued his education and football career at AWC, and then went on to Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. He returned to Yuma and married Kish Curtis; together they had two daughters, Olivia and Elena. Years later he had daughters Violet and Goldie, with his companion Jocelyn Haile. Todd was a very skilled mechanic. He was able to fix anything he got his hands on; cars, boats, or household projects. You could also find him at the River with his beloved turquoise, pink and purple boat, that he had for over 25 years. Todd was loved and will be missed by many. May his soul find eternal peace and may his family be comforted by their happy memories. Todd was preceded in death by his grandparen­ts, Bill and Marie Alexander, Ray and Sammie Jo Hancock; his father, Jesse Scott Hancock. He is survived by his companion, Jocelyn Haile; his daughters, Olivia (Tom) Donnellan, Elena, Violet, and Goldie; his mother, Linda Hancock; his brothers, Ryan (Ashley) Hancock and Rhett (Alicia) Hancock. Celebratio­n of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 19th 2024 at 11:30 am at the Yuma Golf and Country Club. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Francis School on his behalf.
