Mason wins Mesa del Sol Ladies Club Championship
Shannon Mason won the Mesa del Sol Ladies Club Championship with a 2-day total 157. Dona Conzelman was the overall net Champion. Flight gross winners were Carol Flasch, Cindy Iverson and Linda Hughes. Flight net winners were Deb Peterson, Muriel Scott and Clara Hofsink.
In the Yuma Golf and Country Club Ladies
League odds/evens format Gail Duffield won with Jo Falco second.
In the Las Barrancas Women’s League Dorothy Gartner and Loretta Schneider won gross. Karen Frezell and Chris Tastad were the net winners. Tammy Dyer, Pam Herring, Dawn Diamond and Lucy Skjestad were on the winning team. In the Silver League Hubert Gartner, Frank Russell and Art Mclaughlin won gross. John Cullen, Mike Peabody and Frank Mason were the net winners. Rollie Harris, Jerry Denny, Tom Banwart and Tim Ebert were on the winning team. In the Copper Men’s League Frank Russell, Mike Costello and John Cullen won gross. Cliff Couse, Toby Wilson and Bryan Boechler were the net winners.
In the Foothills Executive Women’s League Loretta
Schneider and Julie Handrahan won gross. Elaine Dahl and Julie Dunn were the net winners. Pam Brown, Diane Guthrie, Annette
Rest and Gail Sherwin were on the winning team. In the Men’s League Pat Dallabetta, Lee Estes and John Cullen won gross. Tim Carstenson, Ben Ruybal and Bob Wierzbiecki were the net winners. Martin Junkins, Jim Willits, Butch Ritten and Darryl Dupuis were on the winning team.
In the Mesa del Sol Can Am Men’s League 3 of 4 net best balls Jerry Olson, Don Reaksecker, Ron Stirler and Daryl Lowenburg won with 64 points in a scorecard playoff. Leonard Berube, Scott Rinn, Maurice Thom and Raymond Butler were second also at 64. Garry Sletten, Brian Mccaffrey, George Alcorn and Richard Bosch were third also with 64 points.
In Al’s Picks at Mesa del Sol Elizabeth Rinn took first place with Jerry Olson second, Jack Parker third and Bob Nealer fourth. In Krogman’s Follies Tom Thorp, Hugh Strain, Mike Hancock and Tom Mcfarland won with 68 points. Frank Uzynski, Ken King and Ron Stirler were second at 66. Art Scott, Ken Mcneal, Don Reaksecker and Mike Hanson were third with 64 points.
In the Mesa del Sol Men’s Association 2-Man Scramble flight gross winners were Steve Martin with
Tom Mcintire and Bill Dowding with Mike Bedoya. Flight net winners Harry Mckemy with Gerald Larrabee and Ken King with Mike Hancock.
