Avenue 81/2E intersection needs attention

-

What would the cost be at that traffic mess just east of the light at Avenue 81/2 E compared to an accident that could cost someone their life or serious injury? All they need to do is change the sign on the through street which is 32nd Street (South Frontage Road) to “Left lane merge right” then put arrows as needed, moving cars into the through lane as the left lane is not a through lane! As heavy as our traffic has become, yesterday again we saw a very near miss when one car saw the arrow moving them into the left or ending lane and started to turn into it, but another car was right beside them and they ended up in the lot where the factory-built homes are. In less than two car lengths, a driver has to swerve into the left lane and then go right back into the right lane making a very short U-turn. Many times, drivers in the left lane end up in the median to avoid a side swiping crash! So consider using common sense and change it before someone gets killed or injured, and again compare the cost of making it safer for all!

One more thing is the streets feeding onto the South Frontage

Road need a traffic light or at least a 3 way stop sign due to the very heavy increase in traffic!
