Saturday March 30 GILA RIDGE HAWKS GOLF TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER
WHEN: 8 a.m.
WHERE: Mesa del Sol Golf Course, 12213 Calle del Cid, Yuma
GOING ON: The Annual Hawks Band Golf Tournament is back! Raffles, raffle baskets, 50/50 raffle and live performances from the Hawks Marching Band. This yearly fundraiser helps support the GRHS Hawks Band for the 24-25 school year.

NATIVE PLANT GARDENING SERIES – PART 2
WHEN: 1 p.m.
WHERE: Yuma County Cooperative Extension, 2200 W. 28th St., Yuma
GOING ON: Native Gardening in Yuma, exploring the history of the Colorado River. The Colorado River is under a strain because it supplies water to many western states and it’s not raining or snowing enough to continuously replenish it. Join us as we show the community how easy it is to save water by using native plants in your landscape. Please look for the entrance on the west side of the building (next to the Moody Garden).

MOVIE NIGHT AT THE YUMA TERRITORIAL PRISON – 3:10 TO YUMA
WHEN: 7-9 p.m.
WHERE: Yuma Territorial Prison, 220 Prison Hill Rd., Yuma
GOING ON: The classic western film “3:10 to Yuma” will be shown on a giant outdoor screen at the Yuma Territorial Prison. Enjoy the movie and a glimpse of the prison by moonlight. Bring friends, chairs, and blankets. Snacks available for purchase. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Tuesday April 2 YUMA COUNTY FAIR
WHEN: 3 p.m.
WHERE: Yuma County Fairgrounds, 2520 E. 32nd St., Yuma
GOING ON: The 72nd Annual Yuma County Fair is scheduled for April 2nd – April 7th, 2024. Visit for daily entertainment, arts and crafts displays, fair rides, 4H and FFA projects and food and drink. COST: $5-$7, under 5 free
