Young aspirants sought for Miss San Luis competition
SAN LUIS, Ariz. – The local Cultural Center is on the lookout for young women who wish to represent this community by wearing the crown of Miss San Luis for the 2024-2025 period.
Local residents aged 17 to 23 years old have the opportunity to participate in the pageant, which will take place in May to choose the new Miss San Luis who will receive the crown from the current reigning queen, Melany Enríquez.
“It’s a very nice opportunity for girls to learn leadership, learn to develop themselves, and during the preparation for the pageant, they are provided with wardrobe, makeup, nails, all of that, are part of the benefits they receive for participating,” said Claudia Montoya, coordinator of the César Chávez Cultural Center.
“During the preparation, they will receive speech classes so they are prepared for the day of the pageant. During their participation, they will establish the platform they identify with, so that, once chosen as Miss San Luis, they can develop it during their reign,” she added.
The registration deadline for young women interested in participating in the pageant is April 12, who in addition to the age requirement must be residents of the city, among other requirements that can be found on the website www.sanluisaz.gov/ msl.
