2 convicted sex offenders have new addresses in Yuma County
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that two convicted sex offenders have new addresses in Yuma County.
Jesse Thomas Stewart, 37, is residing at 12619 E. Brenda Drive in Yuma. He is described as 6 feet, 1 inches tall, 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is not wanted by the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at this time.
On June 12, 2009, Stewart pled guilty to one count of aggravated assault and one count of attempted sexual assault in the Yuma County Superior Court. He was sentenced to 12.5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections, with 646 days credit for time served. The victim was an adult female unknown to him.
On Dec. 15, 2022, Stewart entered a plea of guilty/no contest to one count of attempted failure to provide updated place of residence in the Yuma County Superior Court. He was sentenced to 1.5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections with 49 days credit for time served. He is currently on parole.
Stewart is considered a Level 3 sex offender with a high risk to reoffend.
Joshua Campbell, 44, is residing at 854 S. Sunset Ave. in Somerton. He is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He is not wanted by the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at this time.
On Sept. 20, 2004, Campbell plead guilty to one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault in the Merrimack County Superior Court in Concord, N.H. He was sentenced to 10.5 years in the New Hampshire State Prison. His victim was an adult female known to him.
On Dec. 14, 2015, Campbell plead guilty to one count of failure to obtain or carry a valid identification card or driver’s license in the Pinal County Superior Court in Florence, Arizona. He was sentenced to one year in the Arizona Department of Corrections with 69 days credit for time served.
Campbell is considered a Level 3 sex offender with a high risk to reoffend.
