-

Rudolph Allen, 85, entered into the Golden Gates of Heaven on March 26th, 2024 in Yuma, AZ.

He was born on March 9th, 1939 in Imperial, California. He attended school at San Pasqual Elementary until 1954 and from there he attended Yuma High School where he proudly graduated as a Yuma Criminal in 1958. He was a tribal member of the Quechan Indian Tribe, and was then raised on the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation in Winterhaven, California.

He dedicated a great part of his life to the Military where he served active duty in the United States Army. He was also an active member of the Quechan Post 802.

Rudy worked in various positions for the Quechan Tribe. He worked as an LPN for 30 years for Fort Yuma Indian Health Services, a language translator for the Quechan Elderly Home and then was a driver for Quechan ADAPP. He remained very involved in his native traditions and dedicated his life not only to the Military, but he gave his heart to God, his family, his friends and his one and only granddaughter that he loved very dearly with all his heart. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends, and this is not goodbye but I'll see you later, imprinted in our hearts forever.

He enjoyed watching a variety of sports especially locally, AWC basketball was one of his many favorites. He loved spending time with his only son, and cherished the special times they spent watching Westerns and sports together.

I would like to thank Tony Jr. from Alpha Barber Shop for always making sure that Rudy was kept looking sharp! Also a big thank you to Wendy from TLC Private Home Care for making him feel loved and comfortable. It was greatly appreciated.

Rudy is survived by his son, Naaman Allen and granddaughter, Faithlynn Allen, both of Somerton, Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. You will not be forgotten Rudy, we love you dearly!

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Millard; father, Howard Allen; wife, Pauline Allen and brother, Randolph Allen.
