Pearl Dean Jones

February 29, 1940 - April 19, 2024

Pearl D. Jones was a beloved great-grandmother, granny, wife, and mother during her incredible 84 years of life. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 19th 2024.

Pearl was born in Hackett, Arkansas on February 29th, 1940 to parents Ulmer and Ethel Kerr. She had three brothers and one sister.

Her family moved to Oklahoma when she was four years old and then settled in Indio, CA; it was here where she met her true love, Dennacree Jackson Jones. They dated for 2 months before they decided to tie the knot and get married on June 7th, 1963. Pearl and Denny had a short stint in El Centro, CA before they finally called Yuma, AZ their home.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Pearl is survived by her children: Pamela Denise

Garcia (Mario), Dennacree Jay Jones, David Allen Jones. Grandchildren: David Bruce Jones, Michael Scott Jones, Zachary Jovan Garcia (Bianca), Breanna Paige Manabat (Reygie), Caitlyn Louise Juarez (Marc), Aimee Pearl Garcia. Great grandchildren: Nirvana Alexandria Jones, Viviana Ixtchel Juarez, Penelope Rose Manabat, Olivia Inez Juarez, Camila Ivy Manabat, and Anna Ofelia Juarez.

Private services will be held with family members.

Mom, we all love and miss you so much, but you are with papa now and that makes us happy, we will see you on the other side mom.
