Gallegos, Schmunk win at Desert Hills

Carlos Gallegos and Tom Schmunk won the Desert Hills Men’s Golf Association April tournament with an eleven under par 61. Bob Contreras and Mario Robles were second at 64. Greg Wilkinson and Jerry Crump were low net with a 56. Oscar Bonillas and Jesse Barios were second net.

In the Desert Hills Ladies Club even holes format Deb Jarman won gross with Cathy Francis second. Diane Comeau won low net with Cookie Little second net.

In the Silver League at Las Barrancas Carl Fritz, Mardy Clark and Frank Russell won gross. Ken Kingston, Ted Mittendorf and Tim Ebert were the net winners. John Cullen, David Richelderfer, Larry Garrett and Linda Murphy were on the winning team.

In the Moose Lodge Scramble at Mesa del Sol WOJO, Phyllis Mashburn, Moe Mostad and Randy Stickles shot 67 for the win. Maggie Systma, Diana Bird, Tracy Gregory and Wayne Winslow were second with a 70.

In the Lady Hustlers at Mesa del Sol toss the two worst holes format Deb Peterson won the first flight with Connie Donner second. Ann Weber won the second flight with Martha Reaksecker second. In the Can Am Men’s League at Mesa del Sol 3 of 4 best ball Roger Olson, Carl Johnson and Brad Rohloff took first with 63 points. Clifford Weber, Tom Mcfarland, Don Reaksecker and Wayne Winslow were second with 61 points.

In the Wednesday Men’s Twilight League shamble at Mesa del Sol Joe Montenegro and Nate Schug won gross with a 32. Mitch Lebrecht and Reggie Feller were the net winners. In the Ladies Twilight League shamble Deb Jarman and Shannon Mason won low gross with a 36. Barb Sanders and Cathy Francis were the net winners. In the Friday Open Twilight League scramble Jeni & Bruce Mckinney won low gross with a 34. Susanna and Martin Magdaleno were the net winners.

In the Mesa del Sol Ladies League just the middle format flight gross winners were Deb Peterson and Lola Stone. Flight net winners were Linda Hughes and Cookie Little.

In the Mesa del Sol Friday Open League cha, cha, cha format Michael Brick, Jack Parker, Michael Celentano and Raymond Butler won with a 15 under par 133. Ann Weber, Fred Hancewicz, Harry Mckemy and Steve Parrish were second at 134. Garry Sletten, Jerry Olson, Cam Cong and Brad Rohloff were third at 137.
