Family Healthcare of Yuma cuts the ribbon, Dr. Roberto Garcia to close of ce, Dos Dragons is now Old Skull Tattoo
Ivonn Carlos celebrated the grand opening of her new business, Pacific Storage Solutions, a cargo container self-storage facility, on April 26. The business is located at 803 S. Pacific Ave.
Her family business used to rent the containers for homes and other private sites. Now they’re available for rent on a secured lot.
The concept is the first in Yuma, Carlos said.
It’s a contactless facility, which means customers can rent containers online and open the doors via text messages. The facility also has drive-up access. Gate hours are 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
Bills can also be paid online. Two unit sizes are available.
Containers are also available for sale. RV, car and boat parking rental spaces are also available.
For more information or to book a container, email Pacificstoragesolutions@yahoo.com, go to www.pacificstoragesolutionsllc.com or call 928-390-5371.

Dr. Roberto P. Garcia is closing his medical practice effective May
30. Garcia announced the closure with “mixed emotions” in a letter to
patients.
“This has not been an easy decision for me as caring for my patients has been a great source of satisfaction and pleasure these past 30-plus years,” he wrote.
He noted that Dr. Manjunath Nathan will be taking over his practice effective immediately and seeing patients at his current location of 2095 W. 24th St., Suite A.
Dr. Nathan can also be reached at 928-328-8393. Garcia asked his patients to call Nathan’s office as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.
Of course, Garcia added, patients are free to seek medical care elsewhere if they wish. If so, he encouraged patients to begin searching for another provider as soon as possible.
“If you don’t know where to begin, I suggest you contact the Yuma County Medical Society and they can provide the names of providers accepting new patients in the Yuma community,”
Garcia said.
He noted that the contents of their medical charts are confidential and can be transferred electronically to another physician only with their permission. Records will continue to be on file in his former office until May 30 and after that time they will be kept in Nathan’s office.
“I have valued my relationship with you, my patients, more than I can ever express in words. I thank you for your many years of loyalty and friendship. I extend my best wishes for your future health and happiness,” Garcia said.
