Bryan Lee Morrill was born in Los Angeles, California, on October 25,1950 and passed away on February 11, 2024.

Bryan grew up in Whittier, California, and moved to Texas when he was 19. Bryan was a cowboy, a steer wrestler, a pecan tree specialist, with a B.S. Degree in Animal Husbandry and a Masters Degree in Agricultur­e from Sam Houston State. For a time he ran a bakery. For the last thirty years he has lived in Yuma, Arizona. He was a building inspector at YPG, and later became a Natural Resource Specialist for MCAS Yuma. He retired in Yuma, Arizona in 2010 to enjoy golfing, fishing, hunting, reading, and playing Texas Hold 'Em.

Bryan loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with his children, hunting, fishing, playing Texas Hold 'Em, and training hunting dogs. He enjoyed helping people as well as building and fixing things. Bryan used his building skills on several missions to the Dominican Republic with Stoneridge Church. He was also in the Stoneridge Car Club where he would repair cars with a crew from the church on Saturday mornings.

Bryan was on the Arizona Governor's Board for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and SMILE, and was an advocate for people with disabiliti­es. He worked to ensure they had representa­tion and up to date technology. He pushed for rights for the Deaf.

Surviving family members are: wife, Dori Morrill; sister, Debbie Morrill Watson; children, Lillian Jacobs (Zib), Sam Morrill, Natalie Dearing; children's mother, Valerie Morrill; grandchild­ren, Alina Park, Peyton Dearing, Max Dearing.

Predecease­d family members are: father, Howard Jury Morrill, Sr.; mother, Alice Corrine Morrill; brother, Howard Jury Morrill, Jr., son-in-law, Brian Dearing.

A Celebratio­n of Life for Bryan Lee Morrill will be held at Stoneridge Church, 6300 Araby Road, Yuma, Arizona, at 10:00 am on May 10th 2024.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Stoneridge Missions, Stoneridge Car Cub (repairs and work on cars for people), Humane Society of Yuma or the charity of your choice.
