AWC CHAMBER SINGERS AND YUMA CHORALE SPRING CHORAL CONCERT PRESENTS ‘LOVE IS IN THE AIR’

GOING ON: The Arizona Western College Chamber Singers and Yuma Chorale will present their spring choral concert, “Love is in the Air.”

“The public is invited to share in a music celebratio­n of love,” said Deltrina D. Grimes, AWC Professor of Choral and Vocal Music. “The concert celebrates various phases of love as well as the many forms of love that we experience throughout our lives. Whether 90, or 2 years old, you will have an opportunit­y to hear tunes that are ‘music to your ears.’”

Gila Ridge High School Choir, under the direction of Choir Director Timothy O’brien, will be featured as the guest choir for the performanc­e.

GOING ON: Join the Yuma Civic Orchestra and String Ambassador­s for its nal concert of the season. Our musicians are looking forward to bringing Yumans an orchestral classics concert where our community can experience the power and imagery that the music brings. This concert is dedicated speci cally to those in our community and surroundin­g areas who love classical music and who support us all year round. Some of the pieces selected for this concert include some Beethoven, Gershwin, Puccini, Smetana, and Tschaikovk­sy, music you will recognize.
