Prov­inces Boost Ex­ports

The goods pro­duced at the Uzbek-Chi­nese joint ven­ture Ba­hor Plas­tics in the Vabkent dis­trict of the Bukhara re­gion are in great de­mand not only lo­cally, but also on the for­eign mar­kets.

Com­pet­i­tive pro­duc­tion of the en­ter­prise un­der the brand Made in Uzbek­istan is ex­ported to Afghanistan, Kaza­khstan and Ta­jik­istan.

“Last year, we ex­ported prod­ucts for 390,000 US dol­lars,” said Solih Latipov, deputy di­rec­tor of Ba­hor Plas­tics. “Half of the ex­ports are made by the or­der of our Ta­jik part­ners. This year, even more sig­nif­i­cant in­di­ca­tors are ex­pected. Ac­cord­ing to the or­der book, we will ship prod­ucts abroad for $ 1 mil­lion, in­clud­ing to Ta­jik­istan - al­most $ 500 thou­sand.”

The lim­ited li­a­bil­ity com­pany Bukhoro Chaten Clean in the Bukhara dis­trict, which also pro­duces de­ter­gents, also man­aged to oc­cupy a wor­thy place in the mar­ket of the neigh­bor­ing state. This year Ta­jik­istan will ex­port prod­ucts for $ 120 thou­sand, which is 35% more than in the pre­vi­ous year.

Tex­tile and other prod­ucts are also ex­ported to Ta­jik­istan from the Bukhara re­gion. Last year, the vol­ume of sup­plies ex­ceeded $ 445 thou­sand.
