Housing Construction in Spotlight Constantly
The head of our state pays much attention to the construction of housing for the population during his trips to the regions of the country. Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s travel to Jizzakh region on March 30-31 was no exception.
An important point of the President’s trip program was the array of multi-storey houses erected along Jizzakh’s Mustaqillik Street.
This housing, built in accordance with the presidential decree on measures to implement the program for the construction and reconstruction of affordable apartment buildings in cities in 2017-2020, signed November 22, 2016, will serve the needs of the general population in modern and comfortable apartments. Such houses, along with the renewal of the appearance of settlements and the improvement in people’s well-being, will strengthen their faith in the state and confidence in the future.
In accordance with the decision in 2018-2020 in the cities of the country it is planned to build multistorey housing for almost 43.5 thousand apartments.
The seven seven-storey houses on 420 apartments under construction in Mustaqillik Street are scheduled to be commissioned in September this year. This will allow for the phased provision of modern apartments for families in need of housing. The head of the country got acquainted with the projects of these houses.
It also provided information on ongoing creative work in other areas of the region. Projects on construction of multi-apartment housing in Uchtepa village of Sharaf-Rashidovsky district, an array of available houses on the territory of the village of Tokchilik village in the same area will be implemented.
In addition, projects were presented on the construction of infrastructure facilities, multi-storey houses on Islam Karimov Street in Jizzakh, the reconstruction of the building of pre-school educational institution No. 37 in the mall “Sayiljoyi”.
“The scale of construction work in Jizzakh is expanding. Therefore, it is necessary to organize enterprises for the production of building materials here,” the head of state said. “This will reduce the cost of construction.”
According to the program of repair of multi-storey housing stock of Jizzakh region in 2017 345 houses were repaired, 11 commercial banks allocated concessional loans for 16.3 billion soums. In 2018 it is planned to repair and improve 409 multistorey houses, for these purposes will be directed to 59.6 billion soums.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev thoroughly acquainted with each project and instructed the responsible persons to control the expenditure of allocated funds and compliance with the deadlines for the completion of construction work.
