Dur­ing his trips to the re­gions of the coun­try, the head of our state vis­its mil­i­tary units, gets ac­quainted with the com­bat train­ing of ser­vice­men, the con­di­tions of their ser­vice and life. Pres­i­dent Shavkat Mirziy­oyev con­stantly em­pha­sizes that the armed forces con­sti­tute a re­li­able shield for the na­tion, and that ex­ten­sive ef­forts are un­der­taken in the coun­try to im­prove the con­di­tions of ser­vice by the de­fend­ers of the Moth­er­land, in­clud­ing the con­sol­i­da­tion of so­cial pro­tec­tion of their fam­i­lies.

For ex­am­ple, dur­ing a trip to the Jiz­zakh re­gion in late March, Shavkat Mirziy­oyev vis­ited the For­ish field train­ing base.

“It is nec­es­sary to cre­ate all con­di­tions for the mil­i­tary here,” he said. “All of us should un­der­stand well that to­day mil­i­tary ser­vice re­quires mod­ern train­ing and high pro­fes­sional skills.”

The head of our state ex­am­ined the rest­ing build­ings, the places where mil­i­tary ex­er­cises are con­ducted.

The train­ing base has fa­cil­i­ties for train­ing mo­tor­ized ri­fle bat­tal­ions, tank muz­zles, ar­tillery bat­ter­ies, snipers, com­bat avi­a­tion and re­con­nais­sance groups, un­manned aerial ve­hi­cle con­trol ex­perts, elec­tronic war­fare, en­gi­neer­ing squadrons and fire brigades.

Dur­ing his trip to the dis­tricts of our cap­i­tal, on April 6, the Pres­i­dent got ac­quainted with the con­struc­tion of a mod­ern mil­i­tary town in Yashn­abad dis­trict.

In the process of large-scale re­forms, car­ried out to in­crease the de­fense po­ten­tial of our coun­try, con­stant at­ten­tion is paid to the full sup­port of ser­vice­men and the cre­ation of de­cent liv­ing con­di­tions for them.

New multi-storey houses, erected on the ter­ri­tory of the Ol­mos ma­halla in the Yashn­abad dis­trict of the cap­i­tal, will also bring a lot of joy to dozens of fam­i­lies of ser­vice­men. Here 48 five-story houses are erected.

Ac­cord­ing to the project, at the first stage 18 five-story houses are built, de­signed for 540 fam­i­lies. Con­struc­tion and con­tract­ing works are car­ried out by 12 con­tract or­ga­ni­za­tions on the ba­sis of ap­proved in­dus­try sched­ules.

More than 30 units of equip­ment, about 2 thou­sand skilled en­gi­neers and work­ers were in­volved in the con­struc­tion. By now, the lay­ing of bricks has been com­pleted, plumb­ing and fin­ish­ing work is in progress.

The head of state got ac­quainted with the cre­ative work on the ter­ri­tory of the quar­ter, the con­di­tions cre­ated in the new houses.

“The re­forms aimed at im­prov­ing the liv­ing con­di­tions of ser­vice­men guard­ing our borders are to con­sis­tently con­tinue,” the Pres­i­dent said. “The is­sues of ed­u­ca­tion and up­bring­ing, so­cial pro­tec­tion of their chil­dren re­main in the cen­ter of con­stant at­ten­tion.”

Work is pro­ceed­ing ac­tively within the frame­work of the se­cond stage, which en­vis­ages the con­struc­tion of 30 five-storey houses de­signed for 900 apart­ments. In this quar­ter, which will be­come a mod­ern mil­i­tary town, a kinder­garten, a school, a poly­clinic, and other so­cial fa­cil­i­ties will also be built. Th­ese apart­ments will be pro­vided to the de­fend­ers of the Moth­er­land on the ba­sis of con­ces­sional loans.

Shavkat Mirziy­oyev gave re­spon­si­ble per­sons in­struc­tions on the timely and qual­ity com­ple­tion of the con­struc­tion of houses. Here he also spoke with re­spon­si­ble law en­force­ment of­fi­cials.
