Uzbek­istan Pass: Novel Op­por­tu­ni­ties for Tourists

A new ser­vice – Uzbek­istan Pass has been launched in our coun­try. It will bring tourism ser­vices to a new level and will be­come a se­ri­ous plat­form for the de­vel­op­ment of smart tourism in the coun­try. And as a re­sult of in­te­gra­tion with ex­ist­ing ser­vices and ap­pli­ca­tions, Uzbek­istan Pass can be­come an easy guide and an op­er­a­tive as­sis­tant for the trav­eler any­where in the coun­try.

Uzbek­istan Pass in co­op­er­a­tion with the mo­bile op­er­a­tor UMS launched sev­eral ser­vices. In par­tic­u­lar, two spe­cial tar­iff plans for tourists - Uzbek­istan Pass 2000 and Uzbek­istan Pass 5000 have been in­tro­duced. They will al­low our guests to use mo­bile com­mu­ni­ca­tion and the In­ter­net on fa­vor­able terms. UMS will also pro­vide pref­er­en­tial ac­cess to the Uzbek­istan Pass with­out us­ing mo­bile In­ter­net traf­fic. There are two types of tar­iffs - for $ 5 and $ 10.

The Uzbek­istan Pass ser­vice has its own web­site and mo­bile ap­pli­ca­tion that can be down­loaded in the Play mar­ket or in the App store de­pend­ing on the plat­form of the mo­bile de­vice and will ac­com­pany the tourist from the air­port. For ar­riv­ing guests, the com­pany has pre­pared mul­ti­lin­gual hand­books of pocket for­mat that users who con­nect to the sys­tem will be able to re­ceive for free. They con­tain de­tailed in­for­ma­tion about each re­gion of Uzbek­istan, places of in­ter­est, his­tor­i­cal places, cui­sine, hol­i­days and other use­ful in­for­ma­tion for tourists. In ad­di­tion, through the ap­pli­ca­tion you can buy a tour pack­age or or­der a tour guide.

For com­plete safety of the tourist, a SOS but­ton is cre­ated. In case of un­fore­seen emer­gency sit­u­a­tions, he can get help by click­ing on the SOS but­ton in the mo­bile ap­pli­ca­tion of the Uzbek­istan Pass ser­vice. A tourist-owner of a dis­count card will au­to­mat­i­cally re­ceive med­i­cal in­surance upon its ac­ti­va­tion.

Also in the ap­pli­ca­tion there is a “Mo­bile Nav­i­ga­tor”. Its unique­ness lies in the fact that the tourist, in­di­cat­ing the point to which he needs to get, au­to­mat­i­cally re­ceives full in­for­ma­tion about the route and time re­quired for mov­ing, as well as about the near­est in­sti­tu­tions where he will be given a dis­count if there is a dis­count card of Uzbek­istan Pass. The sys­tem will also of­fer to rent a car or or­der a taxi.

Among the ser­vices pre­sented are the ser­vices of ho­tel reser­va­tion, trans­fer from and to the air­port, pur­chase of rail­way and air tick­ets and much more.

In or­der to save money, users are of­fered a dis­count card Uzbek­istan Pass, whose own­ers will be given dis­counts at ho­tels, when vis­it­ing cafes, restau­rants, cul­tural and his­tor­i­cal in­sti­tu­tions, when buy­ing sou­venirs from ar­ti­sans in Uzbek­istan and for car ser­vices. In ag­gre­gate dis­counts with this dis­count card can reach 70%.

It should be noted that all ser­vices ex­cept med­i­cal in­surance and tourist sim-cards are fully avail­able for cit­i­zens of Uzbek­istan.
