A Ma­jor Cen­ter for Busi­ness and Res­i­dence

On Novem­ber 20, Pres­i­dent of Uzbek­istan Shavkat Mirziy­oyev re­viewed the con­struc­tion of modern fa­cil­i­ties in the ter­ri­tory of the in­ter­na­tional busi­ness cen­ter “Tashkent City”.

Large-scale cre­ative work con­tin­ues to trans­form the city of Tashkent into a com­fort­able mega­lopo­lis, de­velop its ser­vices, trans­port, lo­gis­tics and busi­ness in­fra­struc­ture.

One of the unique projects is the in­ter­na­tional busi­ness cen­ter “Tashkent City”, built on the ini­tia­tive of the head of our state, which will serve to se­cure our cap­i­tal join­ing the most ad­vanced and beau­ti­ful cities in the world.

On the ter­ri­tory of the busi­ness cen­ter of 80 hectares, di­vided into seven lots, con­struc­tion works are be­ing ac­cel­er­ated in ac­cor­dance with the in­struc­tions given by the head of state dur­ing pre­vi­ous trav­els to the site. Busi­ness cen­ters, ho­tels, congress hall, of­fices, apart­ment build­ings, restau­rants and other fa­cil­i­ties are be­ing erected here.

The Pres­i­dent be­gan his reg­u­lar ac­quain­tance with the ob­jects of the busi­ness cen­ter by vis­it­ing the con­struc­tion site of a five-star ho­tel, which will op­er­ate un­der the world-fa­mous Hil­ton brand. The twenty-storey ho­tel will in­clude the most modern ameni­ties – com­fort­able rooms, halls for hold­ing con­fer­ences, restau­rants, lounges, swim­ming pools.

To get an idea of how the ho­tel will look like af­ter con­struc­tion is com­pleted, full-scale mock-ups of rooms and halls have been erected for demon­stra­tion pur­poses. Look­ing around at them, the head of state noted the need for care­ful at­ten­tion to de­tail when mak­ing rooms, us­ing col­ors in tones that would give trav­el­ers a feel­ing of com­fort and good mood.

A congress hall is be­ing built near the Hil­ton ho­tel, which will be­come one of the largest fa­cil­i­ties of the cen­ter and will oc­cupy an area of 33 thou­sand square me­ters. It is in­tended for hold­ing in­ter­na­tional events with the par­tic­i­pa­tion of high-rank­ing guests and will be equipped with the most modern tech­nolo­gies. The main hall will seat al­most 4 thou­sand peo­ple.

Shavkat Mirziy­oyev gave in­struc­tions for the con­struc­tion of a congress hall based on world stan­dards, cre­at­ing the nec­es­sary ameni­ties for re­ceiv­ing large del­e­ga­tions.

The Pres­i­dent was pro­vided with in­for­ma­tion on the works be­ing car­ried out in Lot No. 7. This part of the busi­ness cen­ter will con­sist of Euro­pean-style Broad­way, as well as seven- and nine-floor build­ings, which will house cafes and restau­rants, shop­ping malls, bou­tiques of fa­mous brands, apart­ments, ho­tels and of­fices.

The head of state also vis­ited the res­i­den­tial com­plex “Gar­dens Res­i­dence”, got ac­quainted with the demon­stra­tion mod­els of twoand four-room apart­ments built here, con­di­tions cre­ated for buy­ers in the of­fice for the sale of fin­ished apart­ments “Dream City”.

The com­plex, which will oc­cupy an area of 8 hectares, will con­sist of 9 apart­ment build­ings. When de­sign­ing them, all modern re­quire­ments were taken into ac­count, and sep­a­rate ameni­ties were pro­vided for large fam­i­lies, par­ents and guests.

Renowned for­eign com­pa­nies are in­volved in the de­sign and con­struc­tion of the com­plex in the ar­eas of au­dit­ing, con­sult­ing and con­struc­tion.

Peo­ple liv­ing in such con­di­tions change their think­ing and at­ti­tude to life, a new cul­ture is be­ing formed, the Pres­i­dent said.

The head of state noted that “Tashkent City” should be­come the largest cen­ter for busi­ness and res­i­dence not only in the coun­try, but through­out Cen­tral Asia, and gave re­spon­si­ble per­sons in­struc­tions on build­ing it on the ba­sis of modern ur­ban plan­ning re­quire­ments, wider in­form­ing cus­tomers about the hous­ing com­plexes and of­fices be­ing built there.
