A New Textile Factory Eyes Foreign Markets
A new factory has been launched in the Marifat mahalla of the Pakhtaabad district, Andijan region, with a production capacity of 1.2 million units of knitted goods per year.
Owing to the attention paid across Uzbekistan to the promotion of free enterprise, the construction of new and support for the existing factories, delivery of conditions for their steady operation, the number of business entities has been swelling in Andijan region, so have the volume of goods manufactured by them.
The latest production line with a design cost of 4.5 billion soums was created using the working capital of the company Texno Mebel Invest and a loan endowed by the local branch of Ipak Yuli Bank.
Within a short period of time, the unused building of a former shoe factory, provided to the enterprise at zero cost, was reconstructed. Modern machinery and equipment were delivered from China and Turkey and was installed here. Production workshops are launched gradually.
“Currently, the knitwear produced by the company is sold under the brand Reza Textil,” says the head of the company Mirzohid Siddikov. “At the moment, our goods are represented in the domestic market. By the end of this year, we will begin to export them to Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. We plan to export knitwear for $ 400 thousand a year.”
