A New Tex­tile Fac­tory Eyes For­eign Mar­kets

A new fac­tory has been launched in the Mar­i­fat ma­halla of the Pakhtaabad district, Andi­jan re­gion, with a pro­duc­tion ca­pac­ity of 1.2 mil­lion units of knit­ted goods per year.

Ow­ing to the at­ten­tion paid across Uzbek­istan to the pro­mo­tion of free en­ter­prise, the con­struc­tion of new and sup­port for the ex­ist­ing fac­to­ries, de­liv­ery of con­di­tions for their steady op­er­a­tion, the num­ber of busi­ness en­ti­ties has been swelling in Andi­jan re­gion, so have the vol­ume of goods man­u­fac­tured by them.

The lat­est pro­duc­tion line with a de­sign cost of 4.5 bil­lion soums was cre­ated us­ing the work­ing cap­i­tal of the com­pany Texno Mebel In­vest and a loan en­dowed by the lo­cal branch of Ipak Yuli Bank.

Within a short pe­riod of time, the un­used build­ing of a for­mer shoe fac­tory, pro­vided to the en­ter­prise at zero cost, was re­con­structed. Modern ma­chin­ery and equip­ment were de­liv­ered from China and Turkey and was in­stalled here. Pro­duc­tion work­shops are launched grad­u­ally.

“Cur­rently, the knitwear pro­duced by the com­pany is sold un­der the brand Reza Tex­til,” says the head of the com­pany Mir­zo­hid Sid­dikov. “At the mo­ment, our goods are rep­re­sented in the do­mes­tic mar­ket. By the end of this year, we will be­gin to ex­port them to Rus­sia, Ukraine and Kaza­khstan. We plan to ex­port knitwear for $ 400 thou­sand a year.”
