Guzal Is­ma­tova in the Quar­ter­fi­nals!

The 11th Women’s World Box­ing Cham­pi­onship is tak­ing place in the In­dian city of New Delhi.

In the cham­pi­onship, which is held by the In­ter­na­tional Am­a­teur Box­ing As­so­ci­a­tion (AIBA) in the IG In­door Sta­dium, more than 300 girls from 60 coun­tries com­pete.

In the quar­ter­fi­nals of the world cham­pi­onship in the weight cat­e­gory of more than 81 kilo­grams, a mem­ber of the women's na­tional team of Uzbek­istan Guzal Is­ma­tova came out.

To reach this stage, Guzal fought with Hun­gar­ian ath­lete Adri­enne Zhuhasz in the ring and knocked out her op­po­nent in the sec­ond round.

Un­for­tu­nately, in 1/8 of the com­pe­ti­tion, rep­re­sen­ta­tives of our na­tional team Shah­noza Yunusova, Tur­sunoi Rahi­mova and Gu­lasal Sul­tonaliyeva lost to their ri­vals.

The world cham­pi­onship will last through Novem­ber 24th.
