AØ Ø OÁ Á Show to be staged in Oman
HCM CITY The AØ OÁ Show, a programme of Vietnamese dance and circus, will stage two performances at the Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman this week.
The show includes dozens of talented artists in dance, circus and music who use bamboo and traditional instruments during the performance.
The AØ OÁ Show includes traditional and contemporary dances to folk music and theatrical visual arts. It depicts the beauty of Vieät Nams countryside life in contrast with the countrys racing urbanisation.
The show, together with Laøng Toâi (My Village) and Söông Sôùm (The Mist), are a series of art shows produced by Lune Production, once known as AØ OÁ Entertainment, a private entertainment agency that targets theatre lovers and foreign tourists.
The programmes, featuring the daily life of Southern farmers, are directed and choreographed by Tuaán Leâ and Nguyeãn Taán Loäc.
Since they were first staged in 2012, Leâ, Loäc and their staff, including young talents from dance schools in Haø Noäi and HCM City, have toured the world, performing in 300 shows in France, Holland, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Germany, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong.
In 2015, the AØ OÁ Show was seen on The Travel Show ,a tourist programme on channels BBC Worldwide and BBC2.
Through our dance, audiences can learn about Vieät Nams wet-rice civilisation, with beautiful images of farmers rowing boats on rivers, and singing and talking while working in the fields, the programmes choreographer Loäc said.
