He said HCM City was focusing on breakthrough programmes and a creative urban area project towards building a smart and civilised city, giving Hyogo firms a chance to invest in the city in the fields where HCM City had demands and Hyogo boasted strengths such as industrial production, high technology, seaport services, high-tech agriculture, personnel training and sciencetechnology.
Toshizo, for his part, said the prefecture’s firms were looking at investing in Vieät Nam and HCM City in particular, adding that the coorganisation of the HCM City-Hyogo economic promotion conference affirmed the determination to further boost ties between the two localities and nations in general.
He expected that the two localities would strengthen exchanges and co-operation in culture, trade, and tourism.
