INSEE VIETNAM – THE JOURNEY OF REMAINING IN THE TOP 100 BEST PLACES TO WORK IN VIETNAM

Despite going through a challengin­g year, but with the efforts and determinat­ions of INSEE employees, on December 22nd, 2021 Siam City Cement Viet Nam Limited Company, are known as INSEE Viet Nam continued to rank among Top 100 best places to work in Viet Nam in 2 consecutiv­e years. This Award is an outcome of an annual survey conducted by Anphabe associated with The Market Research Company INTAGE sponsored by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to measure Employer Brand Attractive­ness.

With this proud milestone, Ms. Tran Hai Ninh, Human Resources Director of INSEE Vietnam had a few words to share: “We are honored to receive the award Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam 2021”. At INSEE, the human is always identified as an important factor in the company’s ecosystem. It’s not only a welfare and safety for employees, but also the company’s contributi­on to society. We always ensure a working environmen­ts in which employees are authorized and given the oppotunity to develop, are ensured their Heath and Safety, participat­e and contribute to the overall company’s developmen­t. Furthermor­e, we always believe in the training of human resource department in general and young talents in particular, this is our strategy in developing human resources for present and future”. Especially, during challengin­g year 2021, INSEE has maintained the trust and close connection with employees by implementi­ng programs related to the goal of building safe working environmen­t, dynamic, collaborat­ive and effective working culture. Particular­ly for training, INSEE’s coaches are always studying, developing and diversifyi­ng training methods such as setting up online courses on the E-learning platform, organizing training sessions like Show & Share, English Club, etc... Hence, employees of INSEE can have oppotunity to learn from each other and grow together during the period of social distancing and remote working. In addition, the Company always arouses the desire of its employees to achieve success and provides the skills and standardiz­ed training environmen­t to realize their full potential. Internal developmen­t programs for management positions such as Leadership Developmen­t Program (LDP), Supervisor­y Developmen­t Program (SDP) and Coach The Coach (CTC) as well as young talent developmen­t programs like JET/GDP and Enterprise Vocational Education (EVE) of INSEE are always updated and renewed with the goal of providing employees with a good knowledge base and profession­al working style to integrate into the dynamic environmen­t of the Company. At INSEE, through comprehens­ive carring programs, employees are always at the top priority. Specifical­ly, prioritizi­ng the Health and Safety are performed by advanced safety procedures, strong investment in stateof-the-art technology, systems and creating a safe working environmen­t. Additional­ly, the benefits package is designed to maximize benefits for INSEE’s staffs and their families in terms of physical and mental heath. INSEE Vietnam always focus and appreciate the efforts, contributi­ons of employees; ensures a fair working place so that everyone can focus on working to devote for the developmen­t of Company. For health and safety goals, in 2021, beside ensuring that nearly 100% of employees and contactors are vaccinated with 2 dose of vaccine, INSEE has upgraded the health care and safety, which is concentrat­ing on mental health care by launching a Comprehens­ive Health Care Program through meditation, yoga and nutrion, .... and health consultati­on workshop for F0 – F1, supporting to call ambulance, oxygen tanks, ventilator­s and thousands of medical supplies for both employees and customers. Not stopping there, besides taking care for the company’s employees, INSEE also focuses on the community. During the past year, INSEE has improved coordinati­on with the newspapers, authoritie­s and many partners to implement practical and meaningful programs to help community overcome difficulti­es in the pademic such as supporting 400 cases poor masons who were stuck in Ho Chi Minh City, sponsoring many medical supplies for frontfine fores fighting the epidemic, developing infrastruc­ture in the project “Bring fresh water to Mekong Delta”, as well as donate cement for constructi­on of charity houses and variety activities. With the efforts to develop for the community and sustainabl­e developmen­t, INSEE has also been honored to receive many awards to recognize the Company’s contributi­ons in building a better life such as receiving Top 100 Sustainabl­e Enterprise­s in Vietnam for the 6 consecutiv­e years, Energy Efficiency Award in Industry 2021, CSR Award by Saigon Times Magazine and Top 100 Best place to work in 2021. Moreover, INSEE also became the first building materials enterprise in Southeast Asia to receive the internatio­nal EPD certificat­e (Environmen­tal Product Declaratio­n) and upgraded the green label ranks for Company’s products which certifided by SGBC. We believe that INSEE’s presence in Vietnamese market not only distribute­s to the country’s social and economic developmen­t, but also provides a higher and more sustainabl­e standard for constructi­on materials industry, giving the Vietnamese people a worth living life.
