Visa: Greece is a Schengen country, so you can apply for a Greek visa or a Schengen visa to make a trip to Santorini.

Itinerary: There is no direct flights from Vietnam to Santorini, so you will have to transit in Athens then take a flight or a ferry across the sea to save money. It is called a ferry but in fact it is a big high-speed boat with the most famous is offered by the Blue Star ferries.

Time: The best time to visit Santorini is from April to October, and August is the most ideal because at that time the sky is clear, and the weather is quite comfortabl­e and sunny with hardly any rain.

Transporta­tion: To explore Santorini, you can take a taxi, bus or rent a motorbike or car to go by yourself. The price for renting scooters and tricycles is around 12 15 Eur/day, and you must bring your driver’s license, credit card or passport to deposit.

Accommodat­ion: As a famous tourist destinatio­n, the system of motels and hotels here is very developed and diverse in both quantity and quality. If you rent a room in Oia village, you will have the most beautiful view in Santorini, but if you rent a room in Fira village, it will be convenient for transporta­tion and its prices and services are cheaper than in Oia village. If your wallet is thick, you can choose luxury hotels located in the central cliffs of the villages of Fira, Oia or Imerovigli.

Cuisine: The cuisine in Santorini is very diverse and rich, famous for its mashed fava beans, tomatokeft­edes, Greek salad, meatballs, yogurt, lamb gyros and seafood.

 Sailing tour: 95 EUR/ person for 5 hours, including a small BBQ party, wine and juice.
