“I, CLAUDE MONET”

The on-screen exhibition “I, Claude Monet” (Moi, Claude Monet) is directed by Phil Grabsky in the form of a film. Through the reading of more than 2,500 letters, “I, Claude Monet” reveals new facets of the man who was certainly one of the most influential and renowned painters of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Claude Monet also gave birth to the impressionist movement through a famous painting “Impression, Sunrise”.

Shot throughout Europe, in the places where he painted, “I, Claude Monet” is an original and intimate film exploration of some of the most popular cult settings in Western art.
