Visa: You must apply for a visa at the Korean Embassy with the processing time of 14 working days at minimum.
Itinerary: From Vietnam, there are many airlines operating direct flights to Incheon Airport, Seoul. From there, it takes 3 more hours by bus to Gangwon.
Weather: February and March are the winter months in Korea, the average temperature is about 3oc.
Transport: You can ride a bus or rent a self-drive car.
Accomodation: There are many resorts and hotels in Gangwon for skiers. We stayed at the Alpensia Ski Resort.
Cuisine: Pollock soup is a popular dish at most restaurants in the town. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a traditional Hanjeongsik meal at Jeonggangwon, smoked pork and tofu at Daecheongmaru.
Attire: Winter in Korea is very cold, especially when you want to go skiing. So you must prepare warm clothes, snow boots, gloves, scarves and hats.
Currency: 1 KRW ~ 20 VND.
