UAE PASSPORT NAMED “BEST” OF THE LAST DECADE

The UAE has been officially named as the best passport of the decade, according to the latest report published by the Global Passport Index. In the last three years, the UAE gained visa waivers to 111 countries. The Emiratis are now able to enjoy visa-free or visa on arrival entry across 179 countries and territories around the world.

While the UAE had only 110 points on the rankings in the early years of the 2010s, it has successfully won 179 points by 2019. As such, the UAE tops the rankings as the fastestgrowing passports with an outstanding 161% increase in passport power.
