“HIMALAYA - JOURNEY TO THE FOREHEAD OF GOD”

This book was written when Mai Lan and her companion were on their way back to Salleri to start a trekking trip of 200 km to the height of 5,364 m above, through so many mountain passes, rivers and streams. To reach Salleri, Mai Lan had trek twice as long, cross double the rivers and climb double the moutains and so, of course, she doubled her memorable experiences.

This trekking trip to Everest Base Camp looked like a purely physical journey but it opened up surprising and unique inner discoveries. The sheer magnificence and grandeur of the world’s highest peaks, projecting on the small human being, make us realize the pure and harmonious nature of everything and of ourselves.
