Dak Nong Geopark was set up in 2015 with some 65 heritage sites including craters, a system of 50 caves created by volcanoes running a total length of 10,000 m and waterfalls. Characterized by sub-equatorial tropical monsoon and plateau climate, the area possesses many valuable geomorphological heritages and other cultural values as well as traces of early humans.
