Transport: There are currently only 2 flying routes to Con Dao operated by VASCO, departing from Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho. Otherwise, you can to take high speed train from Vung

Tau or Soc Trang to Con Dao. Time: From March to the end of September is the best time to travel to Con Dao. Accommodat­ion: There are many hotels, resorts and homestays in Con Dao. On this occasion, my family stayed in Nicobar - the only eco-friendly hotel with small indoor forest (Duong Van Manh street, Group 6, Con Dao town).

Some attraction­s in Con Dao: Tau Be Cape, Nhat Beach, Vong Beach, Dam Wharf, Nui Mot Pagoda, An Hai Lotus Lake and Radar Peak where you can have a panoramic view of Con Dao.

Other notes: In Con Dao there is a kind of biting midges, their bites often become red, swollen and persist for about 10 days. May U was unfortunat­e to be bitten, but she was treated by an experience­d doctor here and recovered completely after only 2 days.

Children should only be swimming in the morning and afternoon when it is cool
