If the northwest of Vietnam is famous for the Four Great Peaks, the south central coast is where the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam are located. Let’s discover 5 coastal roads that every biker would wish to conquer once in lifetime.

MAJESTIC HAI VAN PASS

Considered as “the most majestic wonder” by Emperor Le Thanh Tong, this pass is located on the Bach Ma mountain range and is the natural boundary between Quang Nam and Thua Thien. With a length of more than 20 km and the highest peak at nearly 500 m high, it is the most dangerous mountain pass in

Vietnam. Hai Van Pass brings a quiet and poetic beauty, with one side a majestic mountain and other side is a cool blue sea, creating a magnificent natural picture that nobody can forget.

The gandy gang of Hai Van Pass, with steep and bendy crags on the abyss of mountains, is a true challenge to bikers. There are some interesting stops on the way to conquer Hai Van Pass such as Hai Van Gate (at the top of the pass), Don Ca arch bridge, Turtle Rock or the lonely pine tree.

PEACEFUL DAM MON

Dam Mon is located in Van Phong Bay, Khanh Hoa Province. Previously, Dam Mon was only known as a small road leading to Mui Doi - the easternmost point on the mainland of Vietnam, but recently, it has developed favorable conditions for ecotourism development.

The DT651 road runs along Dam Mon peninsula, starting from the foot of Co Ma Pass, through the fishing village in Van Tho and Van Thanh and ending at Dam Mon border station. Despite being only 19 km long, this road is attractive for the picturesque landscape, with a sense of peace, serenity and harmony with nature.

You can ride through the fishing village and on one side are rustic, simple, small houses, and on the other side are the seafood farms along the coast. From there, you can discover the white sand dunes creating a sunny and windy desert. And the most beautiful road is the top of a long slope, where you can have a fantastic panoramic view of the turquoise sea, and the downhill, where the small bends run along the most pristine beaches of Khanh Hoa.

In July, the foliage season in Nui Chua turns yellow and orange, stunningly beautiful in contrast with the deep blue water of Cam Ranh Bay and Vinh Hy Bay.

The stops along the pass are where you can watch the southern of

Cam Ranh Bay with the bustling Binh Hung island, the pristine long beaches and the panoramic view of Vinh Hy Bay.

PRISTINE KHUONG HAI PASS

of the pass has created a unique feature, attracting the curiosity of many bikers.

The starting and ending points of Khuong Hai Pass are sights that you should not miss. If traveling from Phan Rang, you can stop by Mui Dinh, where there is an ancient lighthouse nesting quietly in the middle of the arid desert; and at the end of the pass, you can see Ca Na white salt fields spread to the clouds.

THROUGH BAU TRANG SAND DUNES

Phan Ri Cua - Bau Trang can be considered a must-try coastal road

From Phan Ri Cua town to Bau Trang Ecotourism Area, there is a wide and extremely deserted road, of 20 km in length with immense white sand dunes. At the end of the road, there are Bau Ong and Bau Ba lakes of pink lotus, creating a a natural picture that captivates people’s hearts.

for everyone. Any visitor who has the opportunity to set foot here is extremely attracted by the beauty of this coastal road.

In Bau Trang, tourism services are developing with many entertainment services such as sand skiing, or boating in the lotus lake.
