THE Natural Resources Development College (NRDC) has reversed a decision to ban students with carry-overs in some courses from proceeding to third year.

NRDC Students Union secretary-general Majoni Mulenga said management changed their decision after a meeting with the students.

Students from NRDC went on a class boycott on Monday over management’s decision that students with course carry overs should not proceed to the third year.

Mr Mulenga said that students went on a peaceful class boycott demanding that the college principal address them over the matter.

Mr Mulenga said that no dialogue was held between management and the students over the ban.

Students were only requesting for the principal to address them and explain why they keep on imposing issues that are never discussed, Mr Mulenga said.

Mr Mulenga said the students union was happy that the NRDC management has reversed the ban of students with carry overs not to proceed to the third year.
